How to Back Up & Verify Your 12-Word Recovery Phrase

  1. 1Open suiflare and go to Settings → Recovery Phrase.
  2. 2Authenticate with Face ID or your 6-digit passcode.
  3. 3Write all 12 words, in order, on paper. Never screenshot, email or store them in the cloud.
  4. 4Tap Verify and select the requested words to confirm your backup is correct.
  5. 5Store the paper somewhere safe and private. Anyone with these words controls your funds.

How to Send SUI & How the Automatic Gas Reserve (~0.0025 SUI) Works

  1. 1Tap Send on the home screen.
  2. 2Paste or scan the recipient's full 64-character 0x address. suiflare validates the format before you continue.
  3. 3Enter an amount or tap 25%, 50%, 75% or MAX. MAX automatically keeps 0.0025 SUI (2,500,000 MIST) for network gas.
  4. 4Tap Review Transfer and check the address, amount, network and fee reserve.
  5. 5Tap Confirm & Send SUI and approve with Face ID or passcode. The transaction is signed on your iPhone and broadcast directly to the network.

How to Permanently Erase All Wallet Data (Settings → Reset App & Delete All Data)

  1. 1Make sure your recovery phrase is backed up — without it, your wallet cannot be restored.
  2. 2Open Settings → Reset App & Delete All Data.
  3. 3Confirm that you have backed up your recovery phrase.
  4. 4Type DELETE and confirm. All Keychain entries, biometric tokens, preferences and cached responses are wiped immediately.
  5. 5Because suiflare has no accounts or servers, there is no other copy of your data to request deletion of. Public on-chain transactions remain on the Sui ledger.
